The 350 million people who speak those 2000 languages will be without God’s Word until we respond. Three mates - Dave, Carnsey and Sav - will be walking from Cairns to Stanthorpe from August to November this year to raise awareness about these 2000 remaining languages.
They’ll walk 2000km over 80 days. 16 days will be allocated as rest days, leaving 64 walk days. If you do some quick maths, you’ll discover that on each walk day they’ll cover an average of over 30km (19 miles).
Each kilometre represents a distinct living language that doesn’t yet have the Word of God. Nothing - not even a single verse.
